Je pense que chiffre ou nombre serait mieux. Chiffre a le plus de résulats Google.

Grammaticalement, c'est parfait. « Chanceux » s'applique plutôt à une personne qui a de la chance. Et dans ce cas, "nombre" et "numéro", c'est un peu pareil.

Pour moi, "lucky number" = "chiffre porte-bonheur".
"numéro qui porte chance" c'est bien aussi.

Sinon je confirme que "numéro chanceux" ça sonne beaucoup moins naturel.
