
Is it OK to tag sentences containig 1-person pronouns as lies? They’re never facts anyway.

I believe the tag is not necessary here (as it's an imaginary sentence).

It seems odd to me. Even if the context is known the primary reason for 'lie' tags is to reduce the likelihood that someone will be misled or will put up a correction.
For example the sentence ...
"You can't get pregnant if you have sex standing up."
should have a Lie tag. But it doesn't need 'correcting' because it is a valid example of English and something that someone (ignorant) might actually say.
The sentence
"I keep three cats."
does not need a Lie tag (even though I don't have any cats ;-)
