Ĉu "leterkesto" ne estus pli oportuna?

Fakte lau la aliaj frazoj temas pri doma skatolo au kesto, kie oni ricevas senditajn leterojn, aliparte mi preferas la vorton skatolo = kesteto. Dankon.

Laŭ mia sperto "leterkesto" estas uzata por alvenantaj leteroj, kaj "poŝtkesto" por forirantaj.

Jes PaulP mi povus uzi tiun vorton, oni ofte uzas tiusence unu el la du vortoj : leterkesto aŭ leterskatolo. Kiam temas pri leterricevujo malgranda, ekzemple fiksita sur la pordo, ne temas pri kesto, sed pri skatolo.
Cetere ne nur leteroj vojaĝas per poŝto, eble pro tio mi unue uzis "poŝtskatolo" pri la ujo por alvenantaj sendaĵoj al persono aŭ familio. Fakte por kolekti la (pli multajn) forirantajn sendaĵojn de la publiko poŝtoficejo disponas pli grandan ujon : poŝtkeston.
