1- The translation of sentences with similar grammatical patterns isn't a waste of time. Even if English sentences with a similar pattern might look 'boring' to translate, many languages other than English have their own syntactic rules that might reveal some particular grammatical features even when they're translations of English sentences with similar grammatical patterns. A language like Arabic has a grammar that's quite different from that of English, therefore, it's always worth to translate English sentences with similar patterns into a language like Arabic.
2- If those sentences whose links are posted as comments on my sentences are "better" because they are available in audio, I would like to inform the public that even sentences using names other than 'Tom, Mary, and Boston' will soon be available in audio. I will have co-workers whose English is the first language record my English sentences and I'll submit them to Tatoeba. Therefore, and soon, even my sentences will be available in audio. I consider this as an important step for two main reasons:
a- To assert the equality of all members and their right to use names of their choice including in audio sentences.
b- Audio sentences will have to be proofread and corrected once and for all (both English and Arabic ones).
