It's not a big deal for me personally which name to use (until a character belongs to a particular nation and it's clear from the context). The only reason I chose to use non-wildcard names was leaving you an opportunity to create copies with the standard names for your own projects.
Bearing in mind I'm going to contribute some sentences in German, I'm aware that they would be unfit for you as non-native sentences (even if they would be absolutely perfect). Thus I decided to give you an opportunity to create copies of my English sentences and get their German translations made by native speakers as you would like.
As I said before, I don't mind using "Tom" and "Mary" if it seems more beneficial.
