Okinawan language (ISO 639-3: ryu)
You should use either the flag of Okinawa Prefecture or the Ryukyu Kingdom.

@sabretou @cueyayotl - Should we add this language?

Given by a native

The Ryuku Kingdom was situated in Japan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryukyu_Kingdom

Sounds good. We can use the flag of the Okinawa Prefecture: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F...Prefecture.svg

I've created a ticket for this language:

What does Yucatan (Mexico) have in common with Okinawa Prefecture (Japan)?

My bad. I copy-pasted the wrong link.

A Japanese from Okinawa insists on using the flag of the Ryukyu Kingdom

@Balamax
Okinawan languageの日本語名を教えて欲しいです。「沖縄語」「琉球語」「沖縄口」「ウチナーグチ」この辺りかなとは思うのですが、定かではありません。何がいいですか?もちろん他の名前でも構いません。
Could you tell me the language name for Japanese when you have some time? I guess it's called "沖縄語", "琉球語", "沖縄口" or "ウチナーグチ", but I'm not sure. What do you prefer? Of course, other names are fine, too.

I think 沖縄語 is the best choice. 琉球語 refers to more than just this language, whereas 沖縄口 and ウチナーグチ are really more local names for the language.

@cueyayotl, thanks! :)

@small_snow the name of the language in Okinawan is 沖縄口

@Balamax, thanks! :)
