indexing improvement: this ticket: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/107 might be helpful for outside searches on Tatoeba content. Also, Google indexes also deleted sentences, and I don't think this would be useful, actually. Imo just the existing sentences should be marked for indexing by search engines

thanks ^^

new feature: maybe it could be useful to have a button next to the search bar that clears all the searches made by a user. Generally I (and maybe other people) tend to search for many expressions/words, and i tend to delete my queries once every two-three weeks, and it's a pretty long thing to do manually, so maybe having a button that clears everything at once might speed up the process

personally I'd be interested also in seeing this implemented: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/532
in this way, you can search only for sentences with audio and translate them in a direct way, like you would do with sentences in lists or a user's sentences

what about this ticket: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/579 ?
maybe having less technical restrictions on those types of e-mails might be quite helpful to make new users using those new domains register to Tatoeba

thanks for your answer, Trang. I believe that ticket is the last one to be fixed to have an interface with every element to be localized, and not having a mix of English and something else
Edit: There's also the tab name when you edit your own languages levels (and also when you want to add a new language) that has the string called "User", which is left untranslated, so you have it in English. There's something similar also on the login page, where as a tab name you have the untranslated string "Users"

I'm still seeing some untranslated strings.
Here: http://dev.tatoeba.org/ita/sent...ists/show/4109 you can still read "Contains one sentence", even if the rest of the interface is in Italian, and I can't find this string on Transifex.
The other issue I found is in the wall. If you choose any post and you click on the 'reply' button above it (which is properly translated in the interface), you see that 'reply' gets replaced by the string 'close', but this new string remains in English, and it isn't translated in Italian, and 'reply' is in English once you click on 'close'

there's already a ticket for this: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/657

something similar could also be made for words/expressions requests in a given language. For example: I want to see how "house" is used in English, but there are no sentences with "house", so I add "house" to a request list, so any native speaker who browses that list can add the missing word to the corpus with a natural sentence

new possible feature: quicker way to tag sentences. For example: if I'm proofreading someone else's sentences in Italian and I want to add the OK tag, it would be quite long if the user has many sentences. If I want to proofread riccioberto's sentences (https://tatoeba.org/ita/user/profile/riccioberto) to see if there are, for example, typos or missing punctuation and tag each sentence accordingly, it would be extremely long, because he has 6214 sentences in Italian. My suggestion would be to have a button that quickly adds the 'OK', '@change' or '@delete' tags.
Sort of related ticket: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/306

maybe those new languages could be added: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tato...s/lang_request
Another language which isn't listed is Venetian (ISO 639-3 vec). A list has been created by a native speaker: https://tatoeba.org/ita/sentences_lists/show/3924

Personally I would find this quite a nice enhancement when browsing random sentences to translate: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/237

I think this would be really helpful when contributing several translations to a single sentence (I see this happening mostly for Italian and French, currently, but I think this would help for any language): https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/334

related to e-mail notifications: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/448

Another ticket: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/657
Fixing this can surely make the general interface look way much better, in my opinion, especially for new users

Another ticket that I would find useful to implement is: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/81
With this ticket implemented, maybe we could have quicker replies by admins/corpus maintainers, since they would notice sooner the messages addressed to them

I think it would be useful to implement those two tickets:
https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/32
https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/92
About e-mail notifications for private messages, maybe it could be nice if spam messages can be automatically filtered for the notification, so you can still ignore it (if it's possible to implement such filter)

thanks for your answer, saeb

it was used again about five hours ago, so it should have taken those changes into consideration, and that's why I made my post
>There are a variety of different space characters which usually make merging French sentences problematic.
I'm pretty sure the space before the punctuation of the two French sentences is exactly the same

I think the deduplication script ignores some sentences. for example: #383500 & #1089048 and #2206464 & #2128669, which were exactly the same before the script was used, so they were ignored by the script, apparently. Those two pairs are the only ones I noticed, I don't know if there are other sentences that have been ignored by the script
