Every other language is at the first person of the singular. Going back to Chinese/Japanese is needed...

The Japanese could be 'I' or 'We'. But, obviously, the English 'we' shouldn't be linked to sentences that use the singular.
Only German, Polish and Italian are directly linked - are they all in the singular?

Chinese is "we".
