It’s not that milk tastes sour. What this sentence means is that it’s gone bad. So“牛奶酸了。”

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to translate the current sentence as "the milk has gone sour"? I am more in favour of how it originally was.

The phrase "has gone sour" seems less natural to me. "Has gone bad" is something that we say. "The milk is sour" sounds natural.

While "has gone bad" is more colloquial and common, "has gone sour" isn't wrong, I think.
