Hm, I think it would be better as an alternate translation, since people have already translated the current sentence.

Do we keep sentences even if they are wrong after people have already translated it? Those translations would be wrong, too, I assume.

If the sentence is wrong on its own, and can be corrected without altering the meaning, then we keep it and correct it.

If it's wrong and cannot be corrected because it's nonsensical, then it's unlikely to have been translated.

CK, would changing the sentence to #1138030 really alter the meaning?
In German, and I think it goes parallel with English, "eat and drink fruit and water" is awkward, and everybody would assume it should be "eat fruit and drink water".
As for the other languages, there are [literal] translations by native-speakers and we have to trust in that they sound normal or at least possible.

The problem was that the Toki Pona was translated very literally
Toki Pona is very ambiguous, so we have to pick a meaning that makes sense based on the context
In terms of translating on Tatoeba, that means several translations, as long as they sound natural

Is it a solution if we disconnect the sentences from this that are correct?
these #1138195 and #1191162 and #1190568 are correct, I'm sure
