esun?

Word "tomo esun" can be understood as "shop", can't it?

once you know what esun means, tomo esun is understandable, although it also may be the stock exchange.

i just started learning toki pona a week ago, so i at least may call these words new to me. what do the other ones mean and where do i find out about changes/additions?

tomo esun = domo de komerco. Kio malbona estas en tiu vortokombino?

"domo de komerco" estas "vendejo", kaj "vendejo" estas "esun". Mi do opinias la vorton "tomo" superflua ĉi tie.

"Malbone" estas, ke oni povus "forgesi", ke "esun" jam signifas "vendejo". Simile, oni povus diri "jan meli" anstataŭ "meli", kaj "ijo kiwen" anstataŭ "kiwen". Ĉi lasta efektive povus kaŭzi problemojn, se oni iam komencas diri "ijo toki" (parolaĵo, diraĵo, komunikaĵo, mesaĝo) anstataŭ simple "toki" - enkondukante pasivon al la lingvo. Kiu scias?
