Esperantistoj:

TO READ:
ME AND DEMETRIUS DON'T RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS OF COMMENTS ANYMORE!
Anyone of you have this problem too? :(

Hmmmmm... Okaaay, I just tested and it seems to work now. I haven't changed anything though.
I guess it was a temporary problem from Gmail. Either that or sysko fixed the code in secret :P

Odd. I don't think Demetrius uses g-mail, and it was broken for him as well.

I'm not on G-mail too^^
But I think Trang spoke about the notification system, which probably runs with a G-mail mail account.

> I don't think Demetrius uses g-mail
In fact, my clone account uses gmail ;)

Sorry, I forgot to explain that the notification system uses one of my Gmail accounts to send notifications ^^
That's why I was mentioning Gmail.

*Sysko runs far away with his ninja costume "hehehehe" *

No, but seriously... What do we do? This is like... Tatoeba disaster.
sysko leaves and takes the e-mail notifications with him...

> sysko leaves and takes the e-mail notifications with him...
Maybe people could show a little more appreciation for him when he comes back? I know he doesn't like it when the wall is full of people arguing about stuff.

I will serenade him if he brings back the e-mail notifs.

Don't worry, I'll take a look see if I can find the problem :)
I can't guarantee to have it fixed today though. Hopefully it's nothing serious...

Yes, me too, I don't receive notifications of comments anymore.

Now we know what it's like to be boracasli! ;-)

I request corrections for not compatible in selected language or mistaked sentences! but i'm a big contributor but i'm not a trusted user like nickyeow, zipangu...

Request granted for 10 wrong sentences/day.

Tatoeba was featured in wykop.pl in Poland, a service similar to del.icio.us. Expect a wave of users from Poland :-)

good news :)

Note to everyone: For some personnal reason I will be EXTREMLY busy this 2/3 following weeks, so I will need to restrict my activity on tatoeba to the mininum during this period. (basically check one time a day that nothing goes wrong)
So don't worry if you get no answer of feature request etc. during this period, it's not I don't want them, it's just I've no enough time yet. Most of them are interesting (as the idea of a more complex timeline proposed by ludoviko) and will be included in the new version (yes the mythic new version)
So be nice, don't play with flamethrower, and I will be back ASAP, you can still send PM, but also send it to Trang if you really want a quick answer ^^

Interlingua, please!

Please see my comment to the post below. ^^
http://tatoeba.org/eng/wall/sho...7#message_3187

Would it be possible to add Interlingua, please? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interlingua

Please read:
http://tatoeba.org/eng/faq#new-language
It may take some time to add a new flag.
You can start adding Interlingua sentences right away, but please say in comments it's Interlingua.

Please provide a small description of the flag you think could be used. Here is a list of proposals: http://flagspot.net/flags/qy-ia.html but a brand new flag can be made too, if you prefer.
Refer to me for the flag matters/design because it's me who makes them :)

Esperanto estas laŭ mi plej bona ponto por kvalite kompreni kaj traduki al aliajn lingvojn iujn ajn nacian frazon. Ĉu ne?

Well, in fact I had to use an automatic Esperanto->English translator to understand what your post means, so probably not. ^^
Ну, на самом деле мне пришлось использовать автомататический эсперанто-английский переводчик, чтобы понять, о чём Ваше сообщение, так что, наверное, нет. ^^
Fakte mi devis uzi automata tradukilo por kompreni vin. Tial mi pensas, ne. ^^

The timeline http://tatoeba.org/deu/contribu...ivity_timeline is quite interesting. Would it be possible to condense the information, showing weeks, maybe as a second version? And - in case you really don't know what to do :-) how about this same information separately for the different languages? Or a graph showing the progress in the different languages? It not just for fun, I have the impression that it is quite stimulating when you see how things are progressing day by day.

I propose to add a new tag called Beginner or something like that for sentence very simple what we can learn when you begin to learn a language.
Few example:
I read a book.
I listen music.
I am French.
What time is it.
They are already a tag named "simple sentence" but I find it not so simple because they used a highest vocabulary.

Oh great, I didn't looked in the list.
I think it good idea to define some rules for each level.

Yea, my lists are nothing official. Mostly, they're for-me-by-me, with all my biases thrown in. Use them at your own discretion.

(but if you want super simple sentences, the Very Basic list is probably not a bad place to start)

I think the problem is that we need rules about what sentences can be put under what level.
I think we've decided to use established systems from tests for foreign learners...

Yep, because it's easier to say "this sentence contain only vocabulary / grammar pattern that someone who wants to pass LANGUAGETEST level X is supposed to know", moreover there's official list, and it's more valuable for learners, as this way they can directly filter sentences depending of which test they prepare

I don't know if this would be helpful, but I'm currently dividing up English sentences into 5 different levels. If you want the really basic ones, you can check the list "English Sentences - Very Basic" (or "Basic").
Those should all be quite simple.

Wikipedia has a Simple English edition. They might have guidelines. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Si...lish_Wikipedia

How to logout?

Logout button was difficult to find for me.
Next of your inbox icon, the "Remove" button style icon is logout button.

Thanks, gracehero, AT LAST I found it!
Even with your help, it was difficult to guess that my "inbox icon" was that little squared box plus number "0" at the right. Not very "friendly" feature.
